Job summary

NES Fircroft in Kuala Lumpur is seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to lead multidisciplinary teams on a major offshore oil & gas development project based in Malaysia. The role focuses on delivering CPPs and large greenfield developments from concept through detailed design.

You will manage interfaces across offices, coordinate offshore EPC/EPCI activities, and drive technical excellence, safety, and compliance while mentoring engineers and interfacing with clients and vendors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related discipline.
• Extensive offshore oil & gas EPC/EPCI project experience.
• Experience managing large Central Processing Platform (CPP) projects offshore.
• Experience in offshore detailed design projects.
• Strong greenfield project background.
• Middle East project experience is highly preferred.
• Proven track record leading sizeable multidisciplinary engineering teams.
• Experience coordinating engineering activities across multiple locations and workshare environments.
• Strong stakeholder management and leadership.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage multidisciplinary engineering teams throughout project execution.
• Oversee engineering deliverables, ensuring quality, schedule, and budget objectives are achieved.
• Coordinate engineering activities across multiple disciplines, stakeholders, and project interfaces.
• Manage engineering resources and support project planning and execution strategies.
• Facilitate collaboration between engineering teams located across different offices and workshare centres.
• Interface with clients, contractors, vendors, and project management teams.
• Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and guidance to engineering personnel.
• Drive technical excellence, safety, and compliance throughout the engineering lifecycle.
