Job summary

NES Fircroft in Kuala Lumpur is seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to lead multidisciplinary teams on a major offshore oil & gas development project based in Malaysia. The role focuses on delivering CPPs and large greenfield developments from concept through detailed design.

You will manage interfaces across offices, coordinate offshore EPC/EPCI activities, and drive technical excellence, safety, and compliance while mentoring engineers and interfacing with clients and vendors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related discipline.
• Extensive offshore oil & gas EPC/EPCI project experience.
• Experience managing large Central Processing Platform (CPP) projects offshore.
• Experience in offshore detailed design projects.
• Strong greenfield project background.
• Middle East project experience is highly preferred.
• Proven track record leading sizeable multidisciplinary engineering teams.
• Experience coordinating engineering activities across multiple locations and workshare environments.
• Strong stakeholder management and leadership.

NES Fircroft is seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to support a major offshore oil & gas development project based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

This opportunity is suited for a senior engineering professional with a strong background in offshore detailed design, Central Processing Platforms (CPPs), and large-scale greenfield developments. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading multidisciplinary engineering teams and driving the delivery of complex offshore projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Strong greenfield project background.
• Middle East project experience is highly preferred.
• Proven track record managing sizeable multidisciplinary engineering teams.
• Experience overseeing large and complex offshore developments from concept through detailed design and execution.
• Demonstrated experience coordinating engineering activities across multiple locations and workshare environments.
• Strong stakeholder management, leadership, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage project priorities, resources, and technical risks effectively.

Preferred Experience

• Delivery of large-scale offshore facilities including CPPs, topsides, and jackets.
• Leadership of engineering teams ranging from multiple disciplines and functions.
• Experience supporting major operator or contractor-led offshore developments.
• Strong understanding of engineering execution models and international project delivery.
