Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a Senior Network Engineer to troubleshoot complex on-premise and cloud networks, design and deploy robust LAN/WAN infrastructure, and manage server room provisioning. The role involves ensuring high network availability and security through best practices and documentation.

The ideal candidate has a IT-related degree, CCNA/Fortinet NSE or equivalent, and hands-on experience with Aruba, Fortinet, Cisco or Meraki platforms, with strong communication skills for stakeholder

Qualifications

• Diploma/degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering or related field.
• Professional network certification preferred (CCNA, Fortinet NSE or equivalent).
• Experience in network administration, firewall management, wireless/networking or cloud networking.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot advanced on-premise and cloud network infrastructure issues.
• Design and deploy functional networks including LAN, WLAN and WAN.
• Procure and provision communication equipment.
• Monitor network availability and performance.
• Implement network hardening and security best practices.
• Maintain up-to-date network topology diagrams and documentation.
• Manage Windows Server network services including Radius, DNS and DHCP.
• Coordinate site moves and new site provisioning.
• Coordinate with vendors and regional IT teams for issue resolution.
• Support network/security platforms such as Aruba, Fortinet, Cisco, Meraki.
