Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a Network Architect to design, implement, and maintain enterprise IT infrastructure with a focus on Cisco networks and firewall platforms. The ideal candidate should have deep expertise in LAN/WAN, Meraki, DNAC, IPAM, and must be capable of developing high-availability, scalable network solutions aligned with business needs.

The role requires strong collaboration with security/compliance teams and documented network policies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in CS/IT or related field.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience in network architecture.
• Experience with SD-WAN, BGP, wireless networks, Cisco IP VPN, F5, Meraki.
• Nexus switches – configuration, troubleshooting and upgrades.
• Deep knowledge of Cisco firewall (ASA, FTD and FMC).
• Strong F5 load balancer knowledge for solutions and troubleshooting.
• DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, NTP, RADIUS and TACACS expertise.
• Wireshark/packet analyzer troubleshooting experience.
• Cisco DNAC solutions with edge and border layer.
• HA, disaster recovery, failover planning design experience.
• Enterprise/DMZ traffic management understanding.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• HDLD/LLD documentation preparation.
• Independent work with multiple priorities in fast-paced environments.
• Organized with clear communication and global teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage enterprise networks incl LAN/WAN/Wireless and security.
• Deploy, manage and monitor network resources globally.
• Plan data center and office network migrations and deployments.
• Develop solutions for complex network challenges.
• Collaborate with security/compliance for audit readiness and regulatory compliance.
• Document configurations, policies, and best practices.
• Troubleshoot network issues and provide timely resolution.
• Ensure network security and regulatory compliance.
• Perform capacity planning and performance tuning.
• Develop backup, recovery, and failover strategies.
• Collaborate with development and infrastructure teams.
• Define and maintain network design documentation.
• Utilize ServiceNow for incident and change management.
• Evaluate technologies with automation tools.
• Share knowledge and train junior team members.
