Job summary

Ancile Solutions, based in Bayan Lepas, is seeking a Senior Network Engineer to design and implement complex network solutions. You will develop HLD/LLD, create network diagrams, and guide projects from planning through cutover.

You will lead onsite deployments, manage configurations, testing, and validation while ensuring compliance with scope and timelines. Strong vendor experience and certifications preferred.

Qualifications

• 5–10+ years in network engineering, preferably in IT system integrator or services.
• Hands-on with Cisco Catalyst/Nexus, WLC and Aruba/HPE/Ruckus/Juniper.
• CCNA/CCNP or equivalent certification preferred.
• Strong routing protocol experience (OSPF, BGP, EIGRP) and security policies.
• Experience with SD-WAN and high availability/redundancy.
• Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop High-Level and Low-Level designs, network diagrams, and IP addressing.
• Lead network implementation and migration projects from planning through completion.
• Configure, install, commission and test network equipment.
• Conduct pre-configuration, staging and validation before deployment.
• Lead onsite deployment and cutover activities with customers.
• Ensure delivery per scope, timeline and technical requirements.
• Serve as escalation point for complex network issues.

About the role

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Senior Network Engineer located in Bayan Lepas. The Senior Network Engineer will develop High-Level Design (HLD), Low-Level Design (LLD), network diagrams, IP addressing and implementation plans, and lead network implementation and migration projects from planning through completion.

Key responsibilities

• Develop High-Level Design (HLD), Low-Level Design (LLD), network diagrams, IP addressing and implementation plans
• Lead network implementation and migration projects from planning through completion
• Perform configuration, installation, commissioning and testing of network equipment
• Conduct pre-configuration, staging and validation before customer deployment
• Lead onsite deployment and cutover activities
• Ensure projects are delivered according to agreed scope, timeline and technical requirements
• Act as the Level 2/Level 3 escalation point for complex network issues
• Troubleshoot network performance, connectivity, routing, switching, wireless and security issues
• Work directly with customers to understand technical requirements and business needs
• Lead technical teams during major implementations and cutovers

About you

• 5-10+ years of network engineering experience, preferably in an IT system integrator, reseller, MSP or professional services environment
• Strong practical experience with Cisco Catalyst / Nexus / Wireless / WLC
• Strong practical experience with Aruba / HPE / Ruckus / Juniper
• Strong practical experience with Fortinet firewall
• Strong practical experience with routing protocols such as OSPF, BGP and EIGRP
• Strong practical experience with firewall policies, NAT, VPN and security
• Strong practical experience with SD-WAN
• Strong practical experience with high availability and network redundancy
• CCNA, CCNP or equivalent certification is preferred
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
