AYP Group is seeking a meticulous Accountant to join its Finance team in Kuala Lumpur on a 12-month contract. The role combines end-to-end Accounts Receivable across multiple entities and currencies with full-set accounting coverage during a maternity leave.

You will lead AR/AP automation and process improvements, coordinate audits and tax filings across SEA entities, and support month-end close, balance sheet schedules, and intercompany activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; professional qualification advantageous.
• 5+ years of full-set accounting experience including AR, month-end closing and audit support.
• Experience with GST/SST/VAT and withholding tax across SEA countries; familiarity with Singapore filings is a plus.
• Experience with external auditors, tax agents and corporate secretaries across multiple entities.
• Advanced Excel skills; Power BI/Power Query is advantageous.

Responsabilités

• Accounts Receivable across multiple entities and currencies; aging and reconciliation.
• Accounts Payable review and payment approvals for vendors and tax payments.
• General Ledger and Month-end closing; intercompany postings and balance sheet updates.
• Coordinate statutory audits and annual returns across SEA entities.
• Tax preparation and supporting documentation for GST/VAT and ECI filings.
• Banking and corporate secretarial duties; ad hoc fund transfers.
• Automation and process-improvement projects for AR and AP; SOP documentation.
