Job summary

Yinson in Kuala Lumpur is seeking an Associate (Accounts Payable & Receivable) to manage day-to-day AP & AR operations, ensuring accurate processing of invoices, billings and payments while maintaining vendor and customer master data.

You will prepare monthly cash flow forecasts, collaborate with internal teams, and contribute to process improvements and automation initiatives to strengthen liquidity and reporting in a multinational setting.

Qualifications

• 3–7 years of work experience in financial accounting and reporting in multinational environments.
• Strong analytical and financial reporting skills with knowledge of regulatory standards.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word; capable of crafting impactful presentations.
• Good communication, presentation and interpersonal skills; written materials clearly.
• Systematic problem solving with attention to detail and big-picture thinking.
• Degree in accounting/finance and ACA/ACCA or equivalent from a recognised university.

Responsibilities

• Process and maintain AP & AR transactions with high accuracy.
• Update vendor and customer master data to ensure accurate records.
• Prepare monthly cash flow forecasts and payment analyses.
• Liaise with suppliers and internal teams to resolve discrepancies.
• Review payment proposals, remittances and bank reconciliations for closings.
• Generate AR invoices and support intercompany fund flows.
• Identify opportunities for efficiency gains and automation.
• Handle ad hoc tasks as assigned.
