Job summary

Servay Evergreen Sdn Bhd in Sabah is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead store operations across our Sabah stores, overseeing inventory, customer service and store performance.

You will manage a team of store managers, implement efficient policies, and drive growth through strategic planning and strong leadership. This role focuses on delivering excellent service while optimizing profitability across the region.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in a senior retail operations management role, preferably supermarket/grocery.
• Excellent leadership and people management skills.
• Strong commercial acumen and analytical mindset.
• Proficient in inventory management, supply chain logistics and performance monitoring.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder liaison abilities.
• Degree in Business, Retail Management or related field.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement store operation plans to maximize efficiency.
• Oversee daily operations of multiple stores and monitor KPIs.
• Lead, coach and motivate store managers toward targets and service excellence.
• Collaborate with buying and merchandising to optimise inventory.
• Identify and address operational challenges, implement process improvements.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety and security regulations.
• Build relationships with suppliers and local authorities.
