Job summary

DXC Technology is seeking an experienced IT infrastructure professional in Malaysia (Petaling Jaya) to support midrange IT systems. You will handle Windows/Linux, storage and backup areas, ensuring high availability and adherence to service contracts.

The role requires 4–5+ years in IT operations, relevant certifications, and excellent Japanese language skills (JLPT N1/J2). A collaborative, hands-on approach and adaptability are essential for this multinational environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT or equivalent experience.
• 4–5+ years in IT operations or infrastructure services.
• Professional certifications in Windows/Linux/VMware/Oracle VM/SQL/EMC/NetApp.
• Excellent Japanese language ability JLPT N1 or J2.
• Strong ITSM/ITIL knowledge and customer-facing communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical expertise to support IT infrastructure across Windows, Linux, storage and backup.
• Maintain service levels and lifecycle activities in incident, problem, change and capacity management.
• Create training materials and documentation for area of expertise.
• Collaborate with multi-site teams and adapt to diverse environments.
