Job summary

AMK Technology in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia seeks a Senior Middleware & Integration Support Engineer (3–5+ years) to own L2 operations across IBM WebSphere, WMQ, WebMethods, and API gateways. You will monitor platforms, perform advanced troubleshooting, and ensure SLA-aligned performance in a fast-paced managed service environment.

Ideal candidates have Oracle SQL, UNIX/Linux proficiency, and experience with Axway/GXS, Apigee, Azure, and AKS for cloud integrations.

Qualifications

3–5+ years in enterprise middleware administration or L2 support.
Strong hands-on with IBM WebSphere, WMQ, WebMethods.
Experience with Axway/GXS and Apigee gateways.
Oracle SQL and UNIX/Linux system administration.
Familiar with Azure and AKS for cloud integrations.

Responsibilities

Provide L2 support, monitoring, troubleshooting, and tuning across middleware stacks.
Perform RCA and resolve complex integration issues promptly.
Monitor availability and track incidents against SLA requirements.
Collaborate with software development, systems infrastructure, and technical support squads during incident resolution.
Maintain runbooks and integration architecture inventories.
Administer WMQ queues, channels, and topics.
Manage EDI message flows (ANSI X12, EDIFACT, RosettaNet, TRADACOMS).
Execute Oracle SQL queries and UNIX log diagnostics.
