Job summary

Noventiq Malaysia is seeking a Senior Microsoft Security Engineer to join our Services Delivery Team in Kuala Lumpur. You will architect, design, deliver, and implement Microsoft security solutions for external customers, focusing on Defender, DLP and Purview, with Sentinel as an optional element.

You will lead security solution design, drive migrations, mentor engineers, and contribute to tenders and POC engagements.

Qualifications

• 5+ years hands-on implementation and deployment of Microsoft security solutions in production.
• Deep hands-on experience deploying Defender (Endpoint, Office 365, Identity, Cloud Apps).
• Strong experience with Purview - DLP, Information Protection / sensitivity labels, compliance.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Solution Sales, Project Managers, and customers to translate requirements into secure designs.
• Architect, design, and deploy Defender solutions (Endpoint, Office 365, Identity, Cloud Apps).
• Design and implement DLP and compliance with Purview and retention policies.
• Implement identity security with Entra ID—CA, MFA, identity protection.
• Lead migrations from other security tools to Microsoft Defender and Purview.
• Participate in tenders, bids, and POC engagements to demonstrate value.
• Produce architecture docs (HLD/LLD) and configuration guides.
• Provide technical leadership and mentoring to engineers.
