Job summary

Noventiq Malaysia is seeking a Microsoft Security Engineer to deliver and implement Microsoft security solutions for external customers, focusing on Defender, DLP, and Purview. This hands-on role involves deployment, migration, and PoC tasks within the Services Delivery Team.

You will work closely with customers and senior engineers to gather requirements and deliver secure configurations, migrations, and documentation. Strong communication and customer-facing skills are required.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience implementing Microsoft security solutions (2+ years).
• Experience deploying Defender for Endpoint/Office 365/Identity/Cloud Apps.
• Experience with Microsoft Purview DLP and information protection/sensitivity labels.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with engineers, PMs and customers to gather security and compliance requirements and implement designs.
• Deploy and configure Defender solutions (Endpoint, Office 365, Identity, Cloud Apps).
• Implement DLP and information protection with Purview and retention policies.
• Configure Entra ID with Conditional Access and MFA.
• Deploy Microsoft Sentinel where required and migrate other security solutions into Defender and Purview.
• Produce security configuration documentation and admin guides.
