Job summary

Oxydata Software Sdn Bhd is seeking a Lead Security Architect to design and implement advanced Microsoft Defender Endpoint and Purview-based security and governance solutions for enterprise environments. You will own architecture from discovery through deployment, collaborating with engineering teams to deliver compliant, scalable security architectures.

Applicants should have hands-on experience with Defender for Endpoint and Purview, and be able to translate complex regulatory requirements

Qualifications

• Experience designing and implementing Microsoft Defender XDR solutions.
• Experience with Microsoft Purview DLP/Information Protection.
• Ability to translate regulatory and privacy requirements into security designs.

Responsibilities

• Lead discovery, requirements analysis, architecture and solution design for Defender XDR and Purview.
• Design integrated Defender XDR solutions including Defender for Endpoint and Purview for DLP/Information Protection.
• Produce high-level and detailed designs, diagrams, configuration standards and implementation guides.
• Translate regulatory and privacy requirements into implementation-ready designs.
• Lead architecture workshops and design reviews throughout deployment.
• Provide architectural guidance during deployment and rollout.
• Review evidence to ensure alignment with approved designs and standards.
• Develop architecture principles and policy design standards for consistent security.

Lead Security Architect – Microsoft Defender Endpoint & Purview

Lead Security Architect – Microsoft Defender Endpoint & Purview to lead the design and implementation of advanced security and compliance solutions, ensuring robust protection and governance across enterprise environments.

Key responsibilities

Lead discovery, requirements analysis, architecture, and solution design activities for Microsoft Defender XDR and Microsoft Purview.

Design integrated Microsoft Defender XDR solutions, including Defender for Endpoint and Purview for DLP/Information Protection.

Prepare high-level and detailed designs, architecture diagrams, configuration standards, and implementation guides.

Translate business, cybersecurity, privacy, legal, data protection, and regulatory requirements into implementation-ready Microsoft security and compliance designs.

Lead architecture workshops, technical design sessions, design reviews, and implementation walkthroughs.

Provide architectural guidance to engineering and implementation teams throughout deployment and rollout activities.

Review implementation evidence to ensure configurations align with approved designs and standards.

Develop architecture principles and policy design standards to support consistent security implementation across the organization.

About you

Applicants must have the legal right to work in Malaysia. Visa sponsorship is not available.

Strong hands-on experience with both Microsoft Defender for Endpoint and Microsoft Purview for DLP/Information Protection.

Proven architecture and hands-on implementation experience with Microsoft Defender for Endpoint (MDE).

Strong experience in cybersecurity architecture, Microsoft security consulting, solution architecture, or enterprise security delivery.

Experience preparing high-level and detailed designs, architecture diagrams, configuration standards, and implementation guides.

Experience with Microsoft Defender for Identity, Defender for Office 365, or Defender for Cloud Apps.

Experience with Microsoft Purview modules such as Insider Risk Management, Communication Compliance, Data Lifecycle Management, Records Management, eDiscovery, or Audit.

Familiarity with regulatory, privacy, or legal requirements relevant to enterprise security and compliance (e.g. PDPA, GDPR).
