Job summary

Unison Group in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia seeks a seasoned Cybersecurity Architect to drive architecture design for Microsoft Defender XDR and Microsoft Purview across the enterprise. You will translate complex regulatory and security requirements into actionable designs and oversee governance, pilot, rollout, and production deployment.

The role requires hands-on expertise with Defender XDR, Defender for Endpoint, Defender for Cloud Apps, and Purview, with a track record in enterprise-scale

Qualifications

• 10 to 12+ years of experience in cybersecurity architecture or enterprise security delivery.
• Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Defender and Microsoft Purview.
• Deep knowledge of Defender XDR, Defender for Endpoint, Defender for Cloud Apps, and Purview.
• Experience designing Defender for Endpoint architecture including onboarding, policies, EDR, and protections.
• Experience designing Purview Information Protection solutions including data classification and labeling.
• Experience leading delivery from discovery to go-live and a strong understanding of Zero Trust across identities, endpoints, and data.

Responsibilities

• Lead discovery, requirements analysis, architecture, and solution-design activities across Microsoft Defender XDR and Purview.
• Design integrated Defender XDR solutions covering Defender for Endpoint, Defender for Identity, Defender for Office 365, and Defender for Cloud Apps.
• Design Purview solutions covering Information Protection, DLP, Insider Risk, and related modules.
• Translate requirements into implementation-ready security designs and architectures.
• Prepare high-level and detailed designs, diagrams, standards, and implementation guides.
• Lead architecture workshops and governance discussions; review implementations for alignment with designs.
