Job summary

GECO Asia Pte. Ltd invites an experienced Merchandising Manager to lead end-to-end merchandising in textile/garment manufacturing.

You will oversee product development, costing, order confirmation, production planning and shipment, ensuring customer requirements, quality standards and timely delivery. The role requires 5+ years in textile/garment merchandising within a factory environment, and a Diploma or Degree in a related field.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of textile/garment merchandising experience in a factory setting.
• Diploma or degree in a relevant field (Textile, Garment, Fashion, Merchandising, Manufacturing, Business).

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end merchandising: product development, costing, order confirmation, production planning and shipment.
• Serve as main contact between customers, suppliers, production, planning, QA/QC, sourcing and warehouse teams.
• Review customer requirements, specs, tech packs, samples, and production schedules.
• Coordinate with the factory to meet quality, quantity, cost and delivery requirements.
• Monitor production progress, WIP, fabric/accessory availability, and shipment schedules.
• Follow up on sampling, fabric sourcing, trims, and approvals to ensure timely production.
• Provide regular updates on production status, delays, and issues.
• Identify production risks and implement solutions to avoid delays or quality issues.
• Lead merchandising team and develop staff.
