Job summary

Maxim Textile Technology Sdn Bhd is seeking a Merchandise Manager to lead the merchandising team and ensure smooth execution of customer orders across product development, sampling, costing, order confirmation, production follow-up, and shipment.

You will collaborate with Factory Manager, Production, PPC, QA/QC, Purchasing, Warehouse and other departments to meet production targets while monitoring delays, capacity, material shortages, and delivery schedules.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in textile, apparel, merchandising, manufacturing or related field.
• Minimum 3–5 years in apparel/textile merchandising, with supervisory experience.
• Strong knowledge of textile and garment manufacturing processes.
• Excellent understanding of T&A, order management, production follow-up and shipment schedules.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the merchandising team to ensure smooth execution of customer orders.
• Communicate with customers on product specifications, costing, order requirements, and delivery schedules.
• Manage the full merchandising process from product development to shipment.
• Collaborate with Factory Manager, Production, PPC, QA/QC, Purchasing and Warehouse to meet targets.
• Monitor progress, delays, capacity issues, material shortages and production constraints.
• Coordinate with production teams to ensure orders meet approved samples and customer specs.
