Job summary

PKT Quantity Surveying Consultant Sdn Bhd is seeking a Mechanical & Electrical Quantity Surveyor to manage cost estimation for MEP components on factory, data center and office fit-out projects in Malaysia.

You will perform quantity takeoffs, develop budgets, evaluate contractor bids, and administer contracts, while collaborating with engineers and project teams to optimize cost without compromising quality. Familiarity with Malaysian market practices is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/ Electrical Engineering or Quantity Surveying with MEP experience.
• Experience in cost plans, budgeting, tender, calling quotations from vendors for MEP items.
• Experience in Malaysian market.

Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate and detailed cost estimates for mechanical and electrical components of construction projects (factory, data center & office fit-outs).
• Conduct quantity takeoffs and verify quantities against specifications.
• Develop and manage budgets for mechanical and electrical projects.
