E DA ELECTRICAL ENGINEERING SDN BHD is seeking a positive M&E Quantity Surveyor to join our team in Kuala Lumpur. The role focuses on budgeting, cost planning, and administration of Bills of Quantities for electrical and mechanical works.

Ideal candidates have a Diploma or Degree in Quantity Surveying or related fields. Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply, with proficiency in Excel and Word and familiarity with take-off or costing software being an advantage.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Building Services, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing and managing project budgets, cost plans, Bills of Quantities, tender pricing, estimates and cash flow.
• Measure and value M&E works based on drawings, BOQ, specifications, site progress and completed works.
• Prepare and submit monthly progress claims, interim valuations, loss and expense claims, and other contractual claims on time.
• Identify, record, evaluate, prepare, and submit variation claims arising from changes affecting contract value.
• Review supplier and subcontractor quotations, prepare cost comparisons, evaluate terms, and recommend procurement or subcontract awards.
• Evaluate subcontractor progress claims, verify completed works and quantities, and prepare payment recommendations.
• Assist in preparing and negotiating final accounts, reconciling contract sums, variations and payments.
