Job summary

LONGMOTIVE (M) SDN.BHD. is seeking a skilled Quantity Surveyor to manage costs, contracts and commercial matters on construction projects in Malaysia. You will oversee budgets, prepare BOQs, and provide expert guidance to project teams to ensure on-time delivery.

Qualifications

• Degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years' QS experience in construction.
• MEP exposure preferred.
• Strong understanding of contracts and cost control.

Responsibilities

• Prepare cost estimates and bills of quantities.
• Negotiate and administer contracts with suppliers and subcontractors.
• Monitor project budgets and identify savings.
• Advise project teams on contractual matters.
• Prepare payment certificates, variations and final accounts.
• Assist with dispute resolution.
• Collaborate with project managers, architects, and engineers.
