Job summary

Hiredly X, based in Malaysia (Pahang), is seeking a cost estimator and quantity surveyor to support project feasibility, budgeting, and tender submissions. The role covers planning, budgeting, and cost control across ongoing and upcoming projects.

You will prepare BQ/BOQ, pricing schedules, tender documents, and conduct quantity take-offs, material sourcing, and labour costing. You will also evaluate supplier quotations and perform detailed cost breakdowns aligned with drawings and specs.

Responsibilities

• Prepare plans, cost estimates, budgets, and feasibility studies for new and ongoing projects.
• Prepare tender documents, bills of quantities (BQ/BOQ), and pricing schedules for submission within deadlines.
• Conduct quantity take-off, material sourcing, measurement, and labour costing.
• Obtain, evaluate, and negotiate supplier and subcontractor quotations in line with tender requirements.
• Carry out detailed cost breakdowns and analyse drawings, specifications, and scope of work.
