Job summary

Malaysia Airports Berhad is seeking a highly skilled project engineer to oversee MEP designs for Baggage Handling System (BHS) projects. You will coordinate with airport stakeholders, ensure feasible construction within live operations, and drive BIM-based execution across the project lifecycle.

The role requires an engineering degree, BEM registration, and proven experience in large-scale construction with strong communication skills and safety leadership. Malaysian citizens preferred.

Qualifications

Recognized Engineering Degree level in Mechanical / Electrical from a Malaysian/UK/US/Canada/Australia/Singapore university.
Registered with Boards of Engineer Malaysia (BEM).
Experience in large and complex scale construction (>RM 300million) is preferred.

Responsibilities

Lead control and review of MEP designs for seamless BHS integration and compliance.
Coordinate with Civil, Architecture, IT and baggage screening teams for functional BHS implementation.
Utilize BIM and PIM tools to drive project execution across lifecycle stages.
Monitor progress, risks and opportunities; report to Technical Manager.
Ensure documentation of changes to specifications, scope and drawings.
Promote safety culture and adherence to company standards.
