Asia Infrastructure Solutions Limited is seeking an experienced M&E Design Engineer in Kuala Lumpur to design and deliver building services for railway, commercial, industrial and data center projects. You will collaborate with the Mechanical or Electrical Lead to ensure quality design from concept through completion.

The role requires a degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, 3–8 years of M&E design experience, and proficiency in AutoCAD and related design tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering from an accredited institution.
• 3–8 years of M&E building services design experience, preferably in consultancy.
• Graduate Engineer registered with the Board of Engineers Malaysia (BEM).
• Proficient in AutoCAD and design software (HAP/Trace 700; ETAP/DIALux).
• Familiar with local codes (UBBL, MS 1525, BOMBA, TNB).
• Experience in railway or data centre projects; Revit/BIM is an advantage.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a multidisciplinary team.

Responsabilités

• Carry out mechanical (ACMV, plumbing and sanitary, fire protection) or electrical (power distribution, lighting, ELV, earthing and lightning protection) design for building services, in line with industry standards, local regulations and client requirements.
• Prepare design calculations, technical drawings, specifications and tender documentation.
• Coordinate with architectural, civil/structural and other M&E disciplines to integrate systems and resolve design interfaces.
• Prepare and review technical reports and design documentation for internal and client review.
• Attend design and coordination meetings, provide progress updates and address technical issues.
• Support authority submissions and liaise with external parties (e.g. TNB, BOMBA, local authorities) where required.

The M&E Design Engineer will be involved in the mechanical or electrical design, specification and delivery of building services for railway and transit, commercial, industrial and data center projects.
