Job summary

Xenso Electronics in Malaysia is seeking a Mechanical Engineer/Senior Engineer (Electronics, Mechatronics) to design new mechanical products, prepare 3D CAD data and drawings, and provide technical guidance through development to mass production.

The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, upholding ISO 9001:2015 and IATF 16949:2016, and supporting R&D initiatives while ensuring on-time prototypes and tool-off samples.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electronics or mechanical engineering or diploma in electronics or mechanical engineering with 2+ years of experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Excellent skills in AutoCAD and CATIA are compulsory.
• Good written and verbal communication skills in English and Chinese.
• Willing to work at Tanjung Harapan, Northport, Port Klang.

Responsibilities

• Create designs for new mechanical products according to requirements and specifications.
• Assist Business Development with feasibility studies for potential development projects.
• Prepare 3D CAD data, 2D drawings, and technical specifications.
• Provide technical consultation to suppliers, vendors, and customers through development to mass production.
• Ensure timely submission of mechanical prototypes and tool-off samples per schedules.
• Support new project development and R&D initiatives.
• Collaborate with Purchasing, QA, Engineering, Marketing, and Sales teams.
• Maintain ISO 9001:2015 and IATF 16949:2016 standards, 5S, and HSE within the working area.
