Qualifications

• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Excellent skills in AutoCAD and CATIA are compulsory.
• Good written and verbal communication skills in English and Chinese.
• Willing to work at Tanjung Harapan, Northport, Port Klang.

Responsibilities

Mechanical Engineer/Senior Engineer (Electronics, Mechatronics)

Creation of designs for new mechanical products according to requirements and specifications

Assisting the Business Development team in preparing a feasibility study for a part proposal under a potential development project.

Preparation of 3D CAD data, 2D drawings, and technical specifications.

Provide technical consultation to suppliers, vendors, and customers throughout the development process until mass production.

Manage the timely submission of mechanical prototypes and tool-off samples in accordance with project development schedules.

Provide comprehensive support for new project development and R&D initiatives.

Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including the Purchasing, QA, Engineering, Marketing, and Sales departments.

Maintain implementation of ISO 9001:2015 and IATF 16949:2016 standards, 5S activities and HSE (Health, Safety and Environment) around your working area, within the department and across all equipment operations.

Perform any other related duties as assigned by the Superior or Management from time to time.

Requirements:

• The candidate must possess at least a degree in electronics or mechanical engineering or a diploma in electronics or mechanical engineering with a minimum of 2 years of experience in a related field.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Excellent skills in AutoCAD and CATIA are compulsory.
• Good written and verbal communication skills in Chinese and English.
• Preferable Chinese speaker, as needed to communicate with the China supplier and customer
• Willing to work at Tanjung Harapan, Northport, Port Klang.
• Working Hours: Monday – Friday (8:00 AM – 6:00 PM).
