Job summary

Venture Electronics Services (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd in Bayan Lepas, Penang, is seeking an Engineer, R&D (Mechanical Design) to lead mechanical design projects from concept to production. You will develop detailed CAD models, perform simulations and tests, and coordinate with R&D, manufacturing, and QA to ensure on-time delivery and compliance with standards.

Responsibilities

Lead design and development of mechanical systems and components using CAD software.
Create detailed design specifications, technical drawings, and 3D models.
Perform simulations, analysis, and testing to validate design concepts and optimise performance.
Manage mechanical design projects from concept to production within budget and schedule.
Coordinate with R&D, manufacturing, and quality assurance teams.
Provide guidance and mentorship to junior engineers.
