Job summary

QES Group of Companies invites a Senior Electrical Engineer (R&D) to join our team in Malaysia. The role focuses on designing electrical systems for semiconductor equipment and ensuring integration with mechanical and software components to achieve peak performance.

The successful candidate will have 5+ years in electrical design for related industries, proficiency in AutoCAD and PCB design software, and a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical & Electronic Engineering.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electrical & Electronic Engineering or equivalent.
5+ years of experience in electrical engineering design for semiconductor equipment, robotics, automation, motion control, or precision machinery.

Responsibilities

Design and develop electrical systems for semiconductor equipment.
Integrate electrical with mechanical and software components for on-time delivery and optimum performance.
Test and verify wiring and safety compliance to electrical standards.
Troubleshoot electrical systems during prototyping and production stages.
Select and specify components meeting quality and performance requirements.
Guide junior engineers and technicians during assembly, testing and commissioning.
Document design changes, test results, and troubleshooting activities; participate in design reviews.
Support production on electrical/electronic engineering issues.
