Job summary

EMKEY PRECISION & ENGINEERING SERVICES SDN BHD in Malaysia is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join our growing team. You will manage and maintain product and process quality in accordance with ISO 9001 and ISO/IEC 17025, prepare documentation, and support quality system implementation.

You will create detailed CAD drawings using SolidWorks; assist in project planning and documentation; coordinate with cross-functional teams; ensure site safety and client specifications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical engineering principles and machine design.
• Familiarity with ISO 9001 and ISO/IEC 17025 standards.
• Proficiency in SolidWorks and other CAD software.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain product and process quality in accordance with ISO 9001 and ISO/IEC 17025 requirements.
• Prepare and maintain quality documentation, inspection records, NCRs, corrective action reports.
• Support quality system implementation, internal audits, calibration/measurement control, and continuous improvement.
• Create detailed technical drawings using CAD software (SolidWorks).
• Assist in project planning, tracking and documentation.
• Prepare essential project documents such as reports, JSA, and MS.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure project alignment and successful execution.
• Ensure compliance with site safety, industry standards, and client specifications.
• Liaise with the client’s engineering team to coordinate and complete tasks efficiently.
