Job summary

Private Advertiser is seeking a manufacturing design engineer to create detailed CAD drawings and layouts using AutoCAD and Inventor in Kedah, Malaysia. You will calculate dimensions, prepare sketches, and collaborate with sales and engineering to meet product and process requirements.

Qualifications include a Bachelor’s in manufacturing/industrial engineering and 3–5 years of relevant experience; FRP design is a plus. Strong GD&T and BOM routing skills plus SAP integration are expected.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in manufacturing engineering, industrial engineering, or related fields.
3-5 years’ relevant work experience in an industry.
Excellent in CAD software applications (AutoCAD, Inventor).
FRP product design experience is a plus.
Strong knowledge of BOM & Routing, and SAP system integration.

Responsibilities

Follow specifications and calculations to create technical drawings.
Prepare rough sketches and detailed layouts with CAD software.
Calculate dimensions and material requirements.
Design diagrams to illustrate technical workflows.
Collaborate with sales and engineers to incorporate requirements into drawings.
Prepare and redraft drawings with the engineering team.
Identify potential design problems and communicate with relevant departments.
Ensure final designs meet customer requirements, regulations, and quality standards.
Deliver technical presentations and create product manuals with engineers.
Develop an organized e-filing system for project drawings and revisions.
