Job summary

Entegris in Kulim, Malaysia, is seeking an Engineering Drafter/Designer to support Engineering Services by preparing and updating accurate engineering drawings using SolidWorks and PDM. You will collaborate with engineers to capture design intent and ensure drawing accuracy for manufacturing changes.

The role requires experience with SolidWorks, GD&T, and BOM creation, with the opportunity to grow into more complex system layouts.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in SolidWorks for creating and maintaining 2D/3D drawings, layouts and assemblies.
• Experience using PDM systems to manage drawing control and revision workflows.
• Knowledge of GD&T and how to apply it on drawings.
• Ability to interpret mechanical, electrical, and structural inputs into complete drawings.
• Experience with BOM creation and drawing updates during manufacturing changes.

Responsibilities

• Create detailed schematics and drawings using SolidWorks.
• Perform manufacturing redlines and ECRs.
• Support BOM creation and drawing updates during changes.
• Assist new product development and equipment documentation tasks.
• Maintain drawing accuracy, revision control and standards.
• Coordinate with engineers and cross-functional teams to clarify design intent.
