Growing Metal & Panel Fabrication Specialist in Malaysia seeks a hands-on Fabrication Manager to build and run its metal fabrication operations—from client inquiry and engineering design to production execution, QA and after-sales support.

You will lead design using Autodesk Inventor, manage BOMs, plan production, source materials, ensure safety, and mentor a team to deliver high-quality enclosures, panels, and related metalwork.

Formación

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing, Production Engineering, Fabrication Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years in metal fabrication, panel fabrication, or manufacturing.
• Proficiency in Autodesk Inventor Professional for fabrication drawings, flat patterns, DXF files, and BOMs.
• Experience with stainless steel and mild steel for enclosures, panels, brackets, and supports.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and panel layout drawings.

Responsabilidades

• Review client enquiries, technical specifications, drawings, and electrical schematics.
• Design and develop metal enclosures, control panels, brackets, trays, and related metalwork.
• Prepare fabrication drawings, 3D models, flat patterns, and BOMs using Autodesk Inventor Professional.
• Establish and continuously improve the production workflow and overall fabrication operations.
• Plan and supervise fabrication activities, including cutting, bending, drilling, tapping, fit-up, welding, grinding, and polishing.
• Coordinate material sourcing and work with procurement on quality, pricing, and lead times.
• Supervise and perform panel assembly and electrical wiring as needed.
• Support delivery logistics, customer inspections, troubleshooting, and after-sales rectification.
