Job summary

NANOSYNC INTELLIGENCE SDN. BHD. is seeking a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to design and develop customized automation equipment and precision mechanical systems for consumer electronics, semiconductors, and advanced manufacturing.

You will collaborate with customers, project teams, and our China headquarters from concept through production and commissioning. The role requires hands-on experience with SolidWorks, strong communication in English and Chinese, and the ability to manage multiple

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Mechatronic or equivalent years of related experience.
• Minimum four to six years of experience in customize equipment development and design.
• Proficient in SolidWorks or equivalent CAD software.
• Able to independently undertake the design and development of multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate user requirements and design structures for customized automation equipment.
• Design and develop products using SolidWorks and simulation tools.
• Review proposals with clients and perform feasibility studies.
• Ensure on-time project progress and manage BOM after drawings lock down.
• Collaborate with China headquarters to align with client technical requirements.
• Provide on-site mechanical support during FAT and SAT processes.

About the role

Join NANOSYNC INTELLIGENCE and be part of a team driving the future of industrial automation and smart manufacturing. As a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and developing innovative custom automation equipment and precision mechanical systems for the Consumer Electronics, Semiconductor, and Advanced Manufacturing industries. Working closely with customers, project teams, and our engineering headquarters, you will transform customer requirements into practical, high-performance mechanical solutions from concept through production and commissioning.

Key responsibilities

• Responsible for user requirement specification evaluation and structural design of customize automation equipment.
• Responsible for product design and development using SolidWorks 3D Cad software and other simulation tools.
• Review proposals with clients, conduct feasibility study and turn the requirements into design proposal.
• Closely follow up on project progress to prevent late deliveries.
• Responsible for Bill of Materials (BOM) after drawings lock down.
• Handle abnormalities during the development process and propose effective solutions in a timely manner.
• Collaborate with the engineer team at the China headquarters to interface with the technical requirements of clients.
• On site support for mechanical related issues especially during FAT towards SAT process to ensure project delivery meets client standards.
• Other duties and assignments as instructed by superiors from time to time.
• Strictly abide by the company's technical confidentiality regulations and properly safeguard project-related technical data.

What we're looking for

• Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Engineering of Mechanical, Mechatronic, Electromechanical or equivalent years of related experience.
• Minimum four to six years of experience in customize equipment development and design.
• Proficient in SolidWorks or equivalent CAD software.
• Able to independently undertake the design and development of multiple projects.
• Good communication skills, hardworking, and willing to travel.
• Fluent communication in English and Chinese.
