Job summary

Plexus Malaysia in Bayan Lepas, Penang, seeks a Demand Planning & Procurement Specialist to manage demand planning, MPS, and supplier collaboration. You will analyze customer demand to enable inventory management, production scheduling and procurement decisions.

The role requires working with Program Management and cross-functional teams to create what-if scenarios, maintain MPS and MRPs, and mitigate disruptions to ensure timely delivery and customer satisfaction across multiple sectors.

Qualifications

Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in any disciplinary or equivalent.
Minimum 2 years of experience in procurement/planning or related fields.
Good communication skills and proficient in English.
Proactive problem solving, follow up and negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

Analyze customer demand to enable inventory management, production scheduling and procurement decisions.
Create and analyze what-if scenarios to simulate impact on Plexus based on demand changes.
Maintain Master Production Schedules (MPS) and generate MRP; mitigate disruptions.
Escalate any area impacting customer service excellence with regard to product delivery.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure contingency plans for changes/crisis situations.
