Job summary

Plexus Manufacturing Sdn Bhd in Penang seeks a Planning Manager to drive collaboration across the value stream, balance customer demand with feasibility, and steer initiatives toward Customer Service Excellence and strong operational results.

You will lead a planning team, ensure SOP compliance, train staff, and partner with Materials, Production, Program Management and Finance to optimize the master production schedule, inventory, and site revenue.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 8+ years related experience preferred.
• Strong self-motivation with the ability to work independently and in a team.
• Excellent written and oral communication, organizational and troubleshooting skills.
• Proactive approach and ownership for the Focus Factory success.
• Commitment to safety and confidentiality of company and customer information.
• Experience with Google Workspace, Microsoft Word and Excel; ability to learn Plexus systems.

Responsibilities

• Drive collaboration across Plexus value stream to meet customer service goals.
• Develop and train the planning team; ensure SOPs and work instructions are followed.
• Collaborate with Materials, Production, Program Management and Finance.
• Support Demand Management and Capacity Planning, S&OP activities.
• Oversee master production schedule to optimize customer satisfaction and inventory days.
• Lead with Plexus Core Values; drive succession planning and coaching.
