Job summary

Otis Elevator Company (M) Sdn Bhd invites an experienced HR Business Partner to shape our Malaysia HR strategy. You will guide leaders, manage employee relations including unions, and drive engagement for blue-collar teams across diverse sites.

You will advise on performance, development, and succession while ensuring compliance with Malaysian labor laws. Willingness to travel within Malaysia is required to support operations on the ground.

Qualifications

• 8-10+ years HR experience with strong exposure to employee relations and union handling.
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
• Proven experience in driving employee engagement and conducting focus groups.
• Strong knowledge of Malaysian labor laws and industrial relations practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexibility to travel across Malaysia as required.

Role Summary

The HR Business Partner (HRBP) - Malaysia will act as a strategic partner to business leaders, providing HR guidance and support across all aspects of the employee lifecycle. This is an individual contributor role requiring strong stakeholder management, hands-on execution, and the ability to work independently while collaborating with regional HR teams. The role involves working closely with ground-level stakeholders to support operational needs and drive engagement initiatives.
