Job summary

Sime Darby Holdings Berhad is seeking an accomplished Corporate Finance professional to support the Group’s investments, M&A activity, and mobility portfolio initiatives. You will evaluate opportunities, perform financial analysis and modelling, and coordinate due diligence with internal teams and advisers.

With 8–10 years in corporate finance or related fields, you will manage complex transactions, present to Management and the Board, and ensure governance standards are met while driving

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or related field.
• CFA or professional accounting qualification would be an added advantage.
• 8-10 years’ experience in corporate finance, M&A, investments or corporate development.
• Strong financial analysis, valuation and modelling skills.
• Good commercial judgement, project management and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and support M&A, divestments, investments and other corporate finance transactions.
• Conduct financial analysis, valuation, financial modelling and assessment of investment returns.
• Coordinate due diligence and support transaction structuring, negotiation and execution.
• Prepare investment proposals and presentations for Management and Board approvals.
• Work with business divisions, stakeholders and advisers throughout the transaction process.
• Support mobility initiatives and monitor investment portfolio performance.
• Prepare updates on transactions, mobility initiatives and portfolio performance.
• Ensure compliance with governance and approval requirements.
