Sime Darby Berhad in Malaysia is seeking a seasoned Corporate Finance Manager to lead strategic finance initiatives, including M&A, investments, and mobility projects. You will evaluate transactions, perform advanced financial analysis, and coordinate due diligence with internal and external stakeholders.

The ideal candidate holds a Finance/Accounting degree, with 8–10 years in corporate finance or related roles, and strong modelling and communication skills.

Qualifikationen

• Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or related field.
• CFA or professional accounting qualification would be an added advantage.
• At least 8–10 years’ relevant experience in corporate finance, M&A, investments and/or corporate development.

Aufgaben

• Evaluate and support M&A, divestments, investments and other corporate finance transactions.
• Conduct financial analysis, valuation, financial modelling and assessment of investment returns.
• Coordinate due diligence and support transaction structuring, negotiation and execution.
• Prepare investment proposals, management papers and presentations for Management and Board approvals.
• Work closely with business divisions, internal stakeholders and external advisers throughout the transaction process.
• Support and project manage strategic mobility initiatives across the Group.
• Monitor the performance of existing mobility investments and portfolio companies.
• Identify and evaluate opportunities to optimise, restructure or exit existing investments where appropriate.
• Manage relationships with portfolio companies, strategic partners and other mobility ecosystem stakeholders.
• Prepare regular updates and analysis on corporate finance transactions, mobility initiatives and portfolio performance.
• Ensure transactions and investments comply with the Group’s governance and approval requirements.
