Job summary

OSK Construction Sdn Bhd, the construction arm of OSK Group, seeks an M&E Coordinator for a high-rise development in Shah Alam. You will coordinate M&E works, liaise with consultants and authorities, and lead on-site activities to ensure delivery on schedule.

Candidates should hold a degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Building Services Engineering with ≥5 years of building construction experience, strong communication, and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Building Services Engineering or related discipline.
• At least 5 years of relevant building construction experience, with high-rise residential, commercial, or mixed-use projects.
• Strong understanding of M&E systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, ELV, sanitary).
• Familiar with M&E drawings, shop drawings, coordinated drawings, and construction specifications.
• Able to coordinate M&E works with consultants, contractors, subcontractors and internal teams.
• Excellent communication, coordination and problem-solving abilities.
• Willing to be based on site and travel as required.

Responsibilities

• Assist superior in estimating manpower, supplies and materials and raise requisitions to minimize wastage.
• Liaise with consultants and authorities on M&E works and with CS staff on building works.
• Lead M&E subcontractor meetings and prepare minutes.
• Ensure M&E works follow drawings and specs as scheduled.
• Propose design/construction method improvements where needed.
• Coordinate sample submissions and shop drawings with consultants; propose method statements.
• Maintain daily site records and assist in report preparation for management.
• Maintain quality assurance and inspection records.
• Manage temporary power and water provision for site offices and CLQ.
