Job summary

RNB Engineering is seeking an M&E Coordinator (Cantonese speaker) in Kuala Lumpur to coordinate building M&E works with architectural and structural items to avoid clashes. You will monitor site progress, liaise with consultants, subcontractors, site and design teams, and review shop drawings and technical documents to ensure compliance with drawings, specifications and the project schedule.

Fluency in English and Cantonese is required to service our Hong Kong clients.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, MEP or related field.
• Minimum 5 years working experience in construction industry.
• Knowledge in M&E systems, services coordination, and construction process.
• Able to read and interpret construction drawings and technical specifications.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, and project documentation.
• Familiar with BIM coordination is an added advantage.
• Fluency in English and Cantonese is MUST HAVE to support and service our clients in Hong Kong.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate M&E works with architectural and structural items to avoid clashes.
• Coordinate and convey site requirements to the design team.
• Monitor site progress and ensure M&E works follow drawings, specs, and schedule.
• Liaise with consultants, subcontractors, site team and design team on M&E matters.
• Attend site meetings, coordination meetings, and inspections.
• Review shop drawings, material submissions, method statements, and technical docs.
• Manage and integrate electrical, plumbing and fire protection systems.
• Ensure M&E works meet authority, safety, and quality standards.
• Identify and resolve technical and site coordination issues.
