Job summary

RNB Engineering Asia Sdn Bhd is seeking an M&E Coordinator (Cantonese Speaker Only) in Kuala Lumpur. You will coordinate M&E works with architectural and structural items, convey site needs to the design team, and monitor progress to ensure compliance with drawings, specs, and schedules.

The role requires 5+ years in construction, proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Office, and fluency in English and Cantonese to service our clients in Hong Kong.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, MEP or related field.
• Minimum 5 years working experience in construction industry.
• Knowledge in M&E systems, services coordination, and construction process.
• Able to read and interpret construction drawings and technical specifications.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, and project documentation.
• Familiar with BIM coordination is an added advantage.
• Strong problem-solving and interpersonal skills, with the ability to coordinate different parties and resolve issues effectively.
• Fluency in English and Cantonese is MUST HAVE to support and service our clients in Hong Kong.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate building M&E works with architectural and structural items to avoid clashes.
• Coordinate and convey site requirements to the design team.
• Monitor site progress and ensure M&E design works comply with drawings, specs, and project schedule.
• Liaise with consultants, subcontractors, site team and local design team regarding M&E matters.
• Attend site meetings, technical coordination meetings, and inspections.
• Review shop drawings, material submissions, method statements, and technical documents.
• Manage and integrate M&E systems including electrical, plumbing and fire protection.
• Ensure all M&E works comply with authority requirements, safety regulations, and quality standards.
• Identify and resolve technical and site coordination issues.
