Job summary

Vestland Resources in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, seeks a capable M&E site supervisor to assist the project manager with all M&E related works at the construction site. You will liaise with subcontractors and clients to ensure works align with drawings and specifications.

The role requires a Diploma/Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience, 1-3 years of relevant work, and strong communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree in Electrical Engineering or demonstrable equivalent experience.
• 1-3 years of related working experience.
• Familiar with M&E equipment and materials.
• Self-motivated with excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia; Mandarin is advantageous.
• Good social skills and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Assist project manager in managing all M&E related works at construction site.
• Liaise with subcontractors and client/consultants to ensure M&E works meet drawings and specifications.
• Supervise the progress of M&E works on site.
• Identify and recommend improvements in M&E designs and construction techniques when necessary.
• Coordinate subcontractors' M&E work to keep on schedule.
• Conduct M&E sub-contractors’ meetings and prepare minutes of meeting.
• Monitor and record all M&E activities on site for reporting.
• Assist Quantity Surveyor in verification of M&E subcontractors' progress claims.
• Liaise with government authorities when required.
