Job summary

Eupe Corporation in Malaysia seeks a qualified M&E professional with 3–5 years of experience in housing, residential, or commercial building projects. The role focuses on leading on-site M&E works, coordinating with stakeholders, and ensuring project quality and timely delivery.

You will oversee subcontractors, read drawings, manage schedules and budgets, and prepare technical reports for management. CIDB Green Card is preferred, with proficiency in MS Office and AutoCAD.

Qualifications

• Minimum a Certificate/Diploma/Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or in related field.
• Possession of Certificate of Competency (COC), Professional Engineer (PE) registration, or other relevant industry certifications will be considered a distinct advantage and may enhance career progression opportunities.
• At least 3 – 5 years relevant working experience in M&E construction, design, or facility management. Minimum 3-5 years of hands-on experience in supervising and managing mechanical and electrical systems specifically within housing, residential, or commercial building projects in the construction/property development sector.
• Proficient in Ms. Office and AutoCAD software.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and project management skills are highly valued for collaborating with diverse stakeholders like architects, contractors, and clients.
• Strong ability to read, understand, and interpret M&E engineering drawings, schematic diagrams, and technical specifications to ensure accurate implementation and coordination on-site.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to effectively liaise with clients, consultants, sub-contractors, and internal teams, with ability to prepare clear technical reports and presentations for management review.
• Has a valid CIDB Green Card.

Responsibilities

• Site Leadership & Contractor Management: Lead and supervise sub-contractors on-site, ensuring all mechanical and electrical works are executed according to project specifications and timelines.
• Project Planning & Coordination: Collaborate with M&E Coordinators, sub-contractors, and stakeholders to plan and coordinate seamless integration of mechanical and electrical systems throughout project phases.
• Schedule & Budget Management: Organize work schedules and monitor project delivery to ensure timely completion within allocated budget, maintaining cost-conscious approach throughout all project stages.
• Quality Assurance & Compliance: Monitor sub-contractor workmanship and implement QAQC standard procedures to ensure adherence to specifications, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Technical Expertise & Drawing Interpretation: Demonstrate proficiency in reading and interpreting M&E drawings, provide technical guidance to team members, and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues during site operations.
• Documentation & Progress Reporting: Maintain comprehensive records of installations, materials, and testing procedures; prepare progress reports and verify sub-contractor claims for management review.
• Stakeholder Communication: Report project status, challenges, and potential issues effectively to Management while maintaining clear communication channels with all project stakeholders.
• Professional Development & Industry Knowledge: Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in mechanical and electrical systems to drive continuous improvement and innovation.
