Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of customer service experience in logistics, freight forwarding or cargo.
• Strong knowledge of international shipping procedures and customs regulations.
• Excellent communication with clients, vendors and internal teams.
• Proficiency in logistics management software and shipment tracking tools.
• Advanced Excel and email management skills.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
• Fluency in English; Mandarin or Malay language skills are an advantage.
• Ability to work well in a team and independently.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain relationships with existing clients, ensuring satisfaction and retention.
• Handle inquiries regarding shipment status, rates, documentation and services.
• Coordinate with operations to provide delivery timelines and tracking information.
• Prepare and process shipping documents, including bills of lading and customs declarations.
• Provide quotations and negotiate pricing terms with clients.
• Monitor shipments and communicate delays to stakeholders.
• Resolve complaints and disputes professionally, escalating as needed.
• Identify upselling opportunities to contribute to revenue growth.
• Maintain records of interactions and shipment details in management systems.
• Support junior team members and assist in training when required.
