Job summary

Coolblog Dessert Sdn Bhd in Malaysia is seeking a Senior Leasing Executive / Assistant Leasing Manager to support and manage leasing and property-related activities across multiple stores.

The role requires strong coordination, follow-up and problem-solving skills, with the ability to handle renewals, licences, deposits, and landlord negotiations, while coordinating with operations, finance, legal and construction teams.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of relevant experience in leasing, property management, retail leasing or a related field.
• Candidates with experience in multi-site operations leasing will have an added advantage.
• Strong communication, negotiation, coordination and follow-up skills.
• Able to communicate effectively with landlords, property management, authorities and internal stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate new and renewal applications for business licences for all stores/sites.
• Manage new utility applications, transfers and terminations, including follow-up with authorities and service providers.
• Support new site opening activities, including deposits, tenancy agreements and licences.
• Coordinate store relocation projects, ensuring leasing and administrative requirements are met on time.
• Coordinate with landlords and property management on tenancy agreements and renewals.
• Follow up on outstanding tenancy agreements, deposits and landlord requirements.
• Prepare and issue leasing-related correspondence for existing stores.
• Monitor deposit refunds for closed stores until completion.
• Maintain accurate filing and tracking reports for leasing documents.
• Coordinate document delivery for tenancy agreements and letters.
• Track tenancy expiry dates, renewals, deposits and other leasing deadlines.
• Liaise with Operations, Finance, Legal and Construction teams to ensure smooth execution.
• Take ownership of assigned leasing portfolios and ensure follow-up and closure within timelines.
• Perform other leasing, property or ad-hoc duties as assigned by management.
