Job summary

Celestica in Bayan Lepas, Penang, Malaysia is seeking a Senior Lead Engineer responsible for directing design and technical engineers on complex programs. You will plan, execute, and govern programs with multiple streams, ensuring milestones, budgets, and customer requirements are met.

You will lead cross-functional teams, communicate status to leaders and customers, and drive program governance, risk management, and continuous process improvements across the lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 4 to 6 years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional, global core teams and kick off programs; establish schedules and drive meetings.
• Present and communicate status to business leaders and customers; review customer specifications.
• Coordinate site-wide deployment efforts and implement lifecycle process changes.
• Plan the overall program and monitor progress; develop program plan/WBS and resources.
• Provide daily program management throughout the program life cycle.
• Drive core team to meet program objectives on cost, quality, schedule and delivery.
• Define program governance and manage the program's budget and forecasts.
• Manage risks and issues and take corrective actions.
• Coordinate projects and interdependencies; allocate resources across projects.
• Align deliverables to program outcomes with business change manager support.
• Maintain main program documentation such as the Program Initiation document.
