Job summary

Celestica is seeking a Senior Lead Engineer, Program/Project Management in Penang, Malaysia. The role leads design and engineering teams on multi-project programs, directing planning, execution and evaluation of complex designs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 4–6 years of experience in program/project management.
• Ability to lead cross-functional, global teams.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Manage programs (multiple projects per program) of medium complexity with cross-functional, global core teams.
• Present and communicate status to business leaders and customers; review customer specifications and feedback.
• Implement changes per product lifecycle process and suggest improvements.
• Plan overall program and monitor progress; create/update Program Plan/WBS with resources.
• Provide daily program management throughout the program lifecycle.
• Drive the core team to meet objectives (Cost, Quality, Schedule, Features, Fulfillment/SC).
• Define program governance and controls; manage budget and forecast actuals.
• Manage risks and issues with corrective actions.
• Coordinate projects and interdependencies; share resources across projects.
• Align deliverables to program outcomes with business change manager assistance.
• Maintain main program documents (e.g., Program Initiation document).
