Celestica Inc. in Malaysia (Penang, Bayan Lepas) seeks a Senior Lead Engineer, Electrical Design to develop electrical systems, draw schematics and specifications, and support manufacturing.

You will lead a multi-disciplinary team, test and validate designs, and collaborate with customers, manufacturing engineering and project leadership to ensure robust product development. Competenze

• 4 to 6 years of experience in a similar role or industry.
• Bachelor degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Educational requirements may vary by Geography.

Mansioni

• Lead the design, development and implementation of technical solutions in multiple domains. Participate in project planning and scheduling.
• Provide technical leadership and direction to a team of engineers. May be a recognized expert (go to person) in one or more technical areas
• Review, interpret and may negotiate customer requirements/specifications and provide customer feedback
• Lead the deployment of strategic programs and coordinate site-wide deployment efforts.
• Proactively promote industry best practices
• May manage relationships with key vendors/partners.
• Design, modify and implement systems that meet customer and Celestica needs. E.g. creation of Schematics, Bills of material, diagrams, drawings, etc.
• Testing, simulation and measuring (including troubleshooting) the performance of systems
• Keep up to date with relevant industry knowledge and regulations
• Solve complex problems
• Liaison with suppliers, customers, contractors, and other internal teams.
• Analyze and interpret data and information
• Recommend modifications for systems
• Create reports and documentation
