Job summary

Qualifications

• Possess an LLB and is a qualified Advocate & Solicitor in Malaysia.
• Solid post-qualification experience in the relevant practice area.
• Strong leadership, file management, and client-handling capabilities.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Proficient in English and Bahasa Malaysia (Mandarin and/ Cantonese is an advantage).

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage conveyancing matters for residential, commercial, project, and sub-sale properties.
• Advise on sale and purchase agreements, loan documentation, and property-related transactions.
• Supervise conveyancing lawyers and clerks to ensure compliance and efficiency.
• Liaise with developers, bankers, property agents, and relevant authorities (Land Office, LHDN, Stamp Office).
• Advise on corporate and commercial transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, and restructurings.
• Lead due diligence exercises and negotiate transaction documents.
• Advise clients preparing for Pre-IPO, corporate governance, and regulatory compliance.
• Draft and review shareholders and investment agreements, and other corporate documents.

Key Responsibilities

Real Estate Transactions (Conveyancing)

1. 1) Oversee and manage residential, commercial, project, and sub-sale conveyancing matters.
2. 2) Advise clients on sale and purchase agreements, loan documentation, and property-related transactions.
3. 3) Supervise conveyancing lawyers and clerks to ensure compliance and efficiency.
