Job summary

Hytech is seeking an experienced Java developer to design, build, and maintain scalable applications. You will lead SDLC activities, collaborate with product managers, architects, and fellow engineers to deliver features and ensure quality and performance.

Based in Kuala Lumpur, you will work with modern stacks including Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, Hibernate, and various databases. Strong communication and mentorship of juniors are valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in CS/SE or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of professional Java development experience.
• Strong Java core, Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, Hibernate.
• Understanding of OOP, data structures and algorithms.
• Experience with relational and NoSQL databases.
• Familiar with microservices, RESTful APIs, and message queues.
• Experience with cloud platforms and Docker/Kubernetes is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving and teamwork, strong communication.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain high-performance Java applications.
• Lead the software development lifecycle from analysis to deployment.
• Collaborate with product managers, architects, and engineers to implement features.
• Conduct code reviews, mentor junior developers, provide technical guidance.
• Identify and resolve complex issues, optimize performance, ensure stability.
• Contribute to improvement of development processes and tools.
