Job summary

Hytech Consulting Management Sdn Bhd is seeking an experienced Java Developer in Kuala Lumpur to design, develop, and maintain high-performance applications. The role involves leading the software development lifecycle, collaborating with product and architecture teams, and mentoring junior engineers.

Requirements include 5+ years in Java, Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, Hibernate, and experience with relational and NoSQL databases, RESTful APIs, and cloud/container technologies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in Java development.
• Proficiency in Java core technologies and frameworks (e.g., Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, Hibernate).
• Strong understanding of OO design, data structures and algorithms.
• Experience with relational (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB, Redis).
• Familiarity with microservices, RESTful APIs and message queues (Kafka, RabbitMQ).
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and Docker/Kubernetes is a plus.
