Job summary

Hytech is seeking an experienced Java developer to design, build, and maintain scalable applications. You will lead SDLC activities, collaborate with product managers, architects, and fellow engineers to deliver features and ensure quality and performance.

Based in Kuala Lumpur, you will work with modern stacks including Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, Hibernate, and various databases. Strong communication and mentorship of juniors are valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in CS/SE or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of professional Java development experience.
• Strong Java core, Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, Hibernate.
• Understanding of OOP, data structures and algorithms.
• Experience with relational and NoSQL databases.
• Familiar with microservices, RESTful APIs, and message queues.
• Experience with cloud platforms and Docker/Kubernetes is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving and teamwork, strong communication.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in Java development.
• Proficiency in Java core technologies and frameworks (e.g., Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, Hibernate).
• Strong understanding of object-oriented design principles, data structures, and algorithms.
• Experience with relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, Redis).
• Familiarity with microservices architecture, RESTful APIs, and message queues (e.g., Kafka, RabbitMQ).
• Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Strong communication skills and ability to articulate technical concepts clearly.
